About Me

I received my BA in Philosophy from Carleton back in 2011 and then worked in the private sector, living in Edmonton, Ottawa, and Toronto. After years of reading old economics books in my spare time, I finally returned to school in 2016. I moved to Prague that year to begin an MA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) at the Cevro Institute, which I completed in 2018.

Since then, I have completed my PhD in Economics from Carleton University, with a specialization in Monetary Economics. I now live in Sackville, New Brunswick, with my wife and two daughters.

I try to get on the ice and snow as much as possible in the winter. When I'm not working on my research, I'm out cross-country skiing, curling, or playing hockey. I am also a hobby woodworker and enjoy building furniture.
