About Me

I received my BA in Philosophy from Carleton back in 2011 and then worked in the private sector, living in Edmonton, Ottawa, and Toronto. After years of reading old economics books in my spare time, I finally returned to school in 2016. I moved to Prague that year to begin an MA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the Cevro Institute, which I completed in 2018.

I now live in Ottawa with my wife and two daughters and am working towards my doctorate in Economics at Carleton, which I expect to complete in Summer 2024. I have completed all coursework and comprehensives and have a specialization in Monetary Economics.

I try to get on the ice and snow as much as possible in the winter. When I'm not working on my research, I'm out cross-country skiing, curling, or playing hockey. I am also a hobby woodworker and enjoy building furniture.
